Diversified Systems, Inc. of Greenville, SC has recently finished a revitalization of a Laminator Line at the Saltillo Lamination Plant in Mexico

We replaced all the motors and drives with state of the art equipment.  Control of the line is by PLC  via profibus modules for high speed communication between PLC and Drives.  Siemens SE70 master drives capable of .005% speed regulation and communication speed of 12 MEG are utilized.

Siemens Human Machine Interfaces (Operators touch screens) with menu capabilities are located at strategic points on the line.

In addition various power transmission components were upgraded and replaced.

All this was accomplished in about 72 hours of downtime so the customer could get back into production quickly.
